Tanya R. Wiley
CEO
Tanya Wiley has
worked as a transition specialist and consultant specializing in
business valuations, business
acquisitions, marketing, advertising and related fields.
She has owned, managed and ultimately sold one
advertising firm, while she currently owns and operates
WC Publishing Co., Inc., (a full service publishing
company), WB & Associates, LLC (a real estate
development/property management firm – WC
Consulting (a small business consulting agency) and
WCP Communications (www.wcpcommunications.com)
(a full service printing, marketing, advertising and public
relations firm). Wiley is the publicist for Darryl Hunt
(www.darrylhuntproject.org) and travels internationally spreading
his message of hope, faith and forgiveness.
In 2001, Wiley founded the Triad Business Network,
International (www.triadbusinessnetwork.com), a
business-to-business networking organization, which focuses on
assisting its’ members with building a committed referral base. The
organization also has a non-profit arm that focuses on youth
entrepreneurial efforts (The TBN Y.E.S. –Youth Entrepreneurial
Support – Program). The organization, in conjunction with WC
Consulting is currently developing plans to establish the first
youth entrepreneurial incubator for the State of North Carolina.
Wiley’s first hand
experience has given her a keen understanding of market value
dynamics from both the buyer and seller’s perspective. She has a
passion for youth and is on a mission to empower young people
through teaching spiritual and motivational techniques that will
lead to empowerment. She holds a bachelors degree in English and
Political Science from Winston Salem State University. Wiley also
obtained her paralegal certification from George Washington
University, and is a member of the Society of Certified Business
Entrepreneurs. She holds numerous certifications for business
studies and coursework. Wiley is a graduate of the Leadership
America North Carolina Class of 2004 and currently serves on the
LANC Advisory Board. Wiley is a member of the National Registry of
Who’s Who and Lexington Who’s Who and has been
instrumental in raising funds for both the March of Dimes, Leukemia
Society and Sickle Cell Anemia Foundations. She sits on several
boards both locally and internationally and has served as a
non-resident volunteer for the Progressive Liberal Party Steering
Committee for the
 Government of The Bahamas. She is currently the
Nassau Ambassador for Winston Salem Sister Cities. Tanya Wiley is a
proud member of Union Baptist Church of Winston Salem, NC and a
non-resident “watch-care” member of Bahamas Faith Ministries in
Nassau, Bahamas. She is also a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority,
Inc., as well as many other professional organizations. Tanya Wiley
has recently been appointed as the Executive Director for Al Sharpton's NC National Action Network.
Tanya Wiley has served as the editor for several published projects
and has written two books which are scheduled for release in
2009: Taming the Beast “Unleashing Your Hidden Potential” and
God Likes A Cheerful Giver “How To Effectively Market
Through Giving and Getting Referrals”.
